- Answer any questions you may have
- Explain how we can help
We use a structured questionnaire which takes about 1 hour to complete, which makes sure we get all the information we need.
Following the consultation we will send you a report on what we discussed and a proposal for you to consider, which will include all costs.
This initial consultation is FREE.
Website development
We agree the requirements for the website with you.
We then define the requirements to website developers (either our recommended professional or one of your choices)
We manage the development of the site – undertake any discussions and do a number of tests on the website to make sure your potential customers can use it as you want them to.
We’ll represent you to the website developer, including commissioning the work, arranging a domain name, agreeing terms and conditions and payment if you wish. This means you don’t have to meet with the developer (unless you want to) and you’ll just get one invoice from us.
Once the website is up and running, we’ll show you how to monitor traffic to the site, handle any email you receive, how e-commerce works and how to manage customers via the internet.
Pricing is dependant on individual customer requirements, but as a guideline you can expect a professional 5 or 6 page website, including contact via email, to cost approximately £1000. Our fees for managing this size of development would be £250 - £500 depending on the complexity of the website. All prices exclude VAT.
If you’re selling products via your website, then you’ll need an e-commerce part of the site and linkage to your credit card merchant account and so on. Getting this right is very important for customers (and you!) and will therefore incur additional costs.
If you require assistance with your computer systems in the office we’ll be happy to assist at an agreed cost.
Website Review
If you’ve already got a website and aren’t getting any business from it we can undertake a brief review of the site content, operation and usability and produce a brief report (in English) identifying any problems and making suggestions for improvement.
Costs are dependant on the size of the site, and are from £100 upwards.
Content authoring
Perhaps you’ve already got a website in the course of development and the developer is asking you for the ‘words’ to go on the various pages. We can produce clear, informative text which reflects what you want to get across to your potential and existing customers.
Charges depend on the number of pages, ‘degree of difficulty’ and so on, but start from £20 per page.
Managed Services
 No matter how confident you are with technology and the internet, your business will benefit most if you spend as much time as possible running it. Our Managed Services offering enables you to carry on running your business and leave the rest to us. This enables you to get the best of both worlds – doing business and taking advantage of the internet technologies to improve your profits.
We can manage all or part of your internet presence for you. Options are:
Website management:
- Making sure your website is there 24x7
- Liaising with the hosting company and website developer to resolve any
problems
- Analysing the traffic to the website (known as ‘hits’)
- Making suggestions to improve business results
Email management and order processing
- Monitoring your incoming email and ensuring you are aware of any important
issues
- Responding to customer emails to agreed standards
- Ensuring orders are passed to you
- Making sure that email is integrated into your business
E-commerce management
- Setting up your e-commerce systems with your credit card companies
- Managing the payment process
- Ensuring payments are made before orders are processed
- Integrating e-commerce into your business
We strongly recommend that you take this service from us for at least the first 6 months of the operation of your website. During that time we will ensure that everything works properly and that you are in a position to take over the day to day management at a time of your choosing.
Costs are agreed for each individual customer depending on the complexity of the website and services required. For a straightforward website offering services and email contact prices start from as little as £50 per month.

We also specifically look at the way you can maximise the use of your website and integrate this into the business.

Prices are agreed individually depending on the customer requirements.
Existing web sites
In our experience there are 4 types of company with web presence:
Company A has a website, they paid good money for it at the time but have been disappointed by the results. It did not transform their business in the way they thought it would. They are reluctant to spend more money on what they now see as a ‘White Elephant’.
Company B has a website, it is e-commerce enabled. It has some really nice Flash animation. It is costing them more to update the site than the site is generating in revenue. They are considering employing a new salesperson.
Company C has a website; the M.D.’s nephew built it for £400. It has some interesting pictures of the staff circa 1999. They are not too bothered about the site because nobody has ever mentioned seeing it to them.
Company D has a website; They have enhanced customer relations, increased sales turnover, they have up to date information and have created an entirely new set of customers from around the country that they would never have otherwise contacted. It cost them about the same as an advert in Yellow Pages and very little to maintain.
